The New Market Fire Dept. meets at Station 1 located at 146 Jacks Rd every Third Thursday of the month, during Standard time (winter months) meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and during daylight saving time (summer months) meeting begins at 7:30. To be eligble for consideration you have to attend at least 3 meeting in a 6 month's period and on your third meeting a vote will be taken by the membership to accept you as a associate member of the fire department. To be on the Fire Supression Team you must meet all requirement to being a firefighter or emergency medical technician and at the descrestion of the Fire Chief.
